UGATiger, you Dad is still here and a relatively young man. My brother who is 49 was just diagnosed with the same disease, and it sucks.

However, don't take this as a death sentence. Do your research and look for alternative treatments; look for cancer fighting foods that can boost the immune system. Enjoy this season and never, ever give up on him although he may want to give up on himself. That's the approach I'm taking.

May the Tigers keep them in the present instead of thinking about the past or future. May they focus on the here and now and let reality slip away for a couple hours.

I will be praying for you and your family...GEAUX TIGERS!

Thoughts and prayers with you and your family. My Dad was also a lifelong LSU fan and we lost him too early.

Hope your Dad gets better and enjoy the time you have, either way.

I agree wilceaux!! I lost my father @ 55 suddenly to a massive heart attack and my mother @ 55 to a long battle with cancer- You can never get that time back! I bleed purple and gold but Georgia is my 2nd favorite SEC Team also!!

Thanks Tigers. It made his day. Probably could have done without the 2nd half comeback anxiety, but in the end, it made the win all the more worth-while.
