Some guys just rise to the occasion and some don't. I think you saw it in our QBs last night. It can't be explained but it happens all the time...

From most accounts Harris is no better in practice

There really is no explanation other than our coaches name.

The offense was obviously better with Etling. He has confidence and is much more accurate. Malachi dropped too many balls and didn't contest the defender with the pick in the end zone. The stats don't show the whole story.

Dupre didn't contest the ball enough on the pick but the ball was also horribly under thrown.

I can't remember, but was that the play when Etling calf cramped up? I know he underthrew a pass on that one and it's clearly attributable to having no plant foot.

That was the okay but he did step into it so I think the cramp must have happened after he stepped into it.

The othe deep ball he threw was horribly overthrown so maybe the cramp had something to do with it.
