Devin White is going to Laron Landry crush some people this year.

Dural, Dupre, Chark … There had been some questions as to both the health of Travin Dural and who LSU’s third wide receiver would be. After the first practice, it appears we have an answer. Dural, who suffered a hamstring injury last season, looked healthy and practiced at full speed. He worked as the No. 2 wide receiver through drills, with Malachi Dupre taking the first reps each time. D.J. Chark stepped in as the team’s third wide receiver, and he appears poised for a big season after emerging as a playmaker in LSU’s bowl game win last season.

Makes me wonder about T.Johnson

Only Day 1 so I'm sure everything is focused on getting the guys up to speed. Still all seems like positive news with the exception of Teuhema.

Well you knew he wasn't going to pass up Dural and Dupre. I think Chark is just finally starting to blossom. I think he was also in the doghouse with Coach Ball.

I'd be surprised if Johnson wasn't #4 on the depth chart.

Now if he starts getting passed up by freshmen, that's a different story.

I'll be interested to see if Jefferson can settle in at outside linebacker

Could be a great coverage backer in that scheme

Damn did he put on 25 lbs or something? Seems much bigger.

GREAT news for his durability and strength to break tackles/sacks.

He's a strong guy and a good athlete, but his coverage was average for a DB.

However his coverage as a LB would be great. I love the idea of getting all these talented, versatile athletes on the field every where we can.

Delahoussaye’s back … LSU kicker Colby Delahoussaye was in attendance for LSU’s first practice, though he did not kick field goals as he continues to take his rehab process slowly following a car crash in Wisconsin last month. Delahoussaye suffered second-degree burns on his left thigh, which Les Miles said should heal before the season begins. Miles added that he remains in competition for LSU’s starting job on field goals.

Delly did kick some

He'll be back soon. Apparently it's not serious.
