Since we aren't a strong home run team, moving Freeman to the 2 hole and then just dropping everyone by one, with especially Paps batting 9th, would produce more runs no doubt in our minds. Freeman is the perfect 2 hole hitter.

Freemen is the worst 2 hole hitter. Lol 2 hole guys have to be able to handle the bat. That kid is a dead pull hitter. Keep him at 9 as your second lead off and have him feed off of fastballs.

Look here Albert, you want a contact hitter in 2 hole. Freeman is one of the best and he also....drum roll...get ready....has an insane OBP. Should be at the top of the order. If CPM is going to start Paps instead of Romero the rest of the way, then he needs to be 9th. Discussion over.

And Freeman is a devil on the base paths. He's swiped a ton of second baggers.

This is not little league champ. Your worst hitter doesn't hit 9th anymore. Take a seat

A 9 hole hitter with speed and a good obp is what you want and can be a serious weapon. Fraley is a much better 2 hole hitter than a 3 hole hitter. Kramer is not a clean up guy and your worst hitter should be your 8 hole guy. Not to mention the fact that Freeman early in the year batted at the too of the lineup and didn't do to well. Being as you don't have much pop in the lineup you need to make sure you have good contact hitters spread out through the lineup.

The stats show that lineup construction is pretty meaningless, it's physiological more than anything .
