Lots of baseball to be played heading into SEC Play, we have North Dakota State Tuesday and Wednesday.

It means that some of the guys at the end of the bullpen are going to have to give some innings.
We're almost guaranteed to see more of Cam Johnson, Aiden Moffett, Micah Bucknam, and Nic Bronzini.

Don't care much for those two mid week games just a few days before opening Sec play.

The backside of this is I think we only have one midweek game a week for the rest of the season.
This schedule was intentionally front-loaded to throw a lot at our guys and get a lot of them experience, and it eases up a bit as the season wears on.

Mainieri used to do this too. He said doing 2 midweek games early in the season was so that he could get basically the whole pitching staff a chance to get out there.

Which I am excited about. They need playing time and a chance to continue to show development and improvement.
