$70 Face Value on Tickets for Washington Game...WTF?

I am amazed that a poor PAC-10 school would try and rip a visiting team off by charging $70 for a ticket. I am sure there will be many available in Seattle to purchase less than face value day of game as the PAC-10 fans are a joke (anyone go to Tucson for the AZ game in '03? No support!). Just wanted to share my frustration on this BS.

$70 is pretty standard for most big OOC games/USC/rivalry game at Pac-10 schools.

You should have gotten them through LSU then if it bothered you so much. I am sure that those LSU tickets with the TAF donations and such probably cost alot more.
Some schools actually have made fans buy a two and three game package to be able to get tickets to see LSU play them.

Doesn't really bother me, every athletic department has their own strategy to stay afloat. Does it really matter considering you have to pay for flight, hotel, food, drinks, etc? What's an extra $20-30?

I'm pretty sure they are charging the same price through LSU?

Correct, student tickets were $70.

Same price all around - through LSU and UW. UW website is charging $6 extra per ticket for processing... $76/ea. Guess I am used to paying face value in TS. Nothing beats playing at home!

Supply and demand
If you are willing to pay it (we sold our allotment) then the price they charged was fair. Hell they could have charged more and still sold out.
