Apparently that’s all that matters in football. Funny, wonder why coaches don’t just simply recruit basketball players only. So stupid IMO. There’s a lot more to it at wide receiver, and give me a burst like Chase, etc.

Are you purposely ignoring the 4.59 40?

I mean that 6’7 wide receiver is actually really good.

You will be a sad little man after the game on Sunday. Can't wait for the melt.

Honestly did not look at that, maybe I’m wrong, just tired of hearing about his height being a huge factor overall. I get it in the red zone.

Oh wow, you’re right. That’s good speed for a LB! Oh wait..

If he has good feet, speed and route running ability, in addition to the height, then that is really a big deal.

For 6’7 240lbs, that’s absolutely a good speed

He plays WIDE RECEIVER. Not tight end. Throw a safety on him. His route running isn’t that great.

Lmao throw a safety on him? Our safeties are small. And he bounced Duce Chestnut off of him with ease last for a TD.

Zy Alexander will likely have to be on him

I could be wrong but I am guessing at the NFL combine that is good speed for TE, not really good speed for NFL wide receivers these days.

I’m referring to physicality, not height. It’s the strategy NFL teams use for receiving TE (albeit with limited success with the elite guys).

His speed and height are a nightmare to defend at the WR position, using DBs to cover. It’s a bad match up.

For a college WR, his measurables cause problems. That’s why the media loves him

I get what you’re saying. Main problem is now if you focus too much on him, Coleman might break free.

Coleman is also a tough one

Last year he was their leading receiver with 43 catches for 897 yards and 5 TD’s.
That’s not bad, but that was against ACC defenses that absolutely sucked.
So excuse me if I don’t think he is that big of a problem overall. Situationally yes, but only 5TD’s against ACC secondaries last year as their number one receiver?
I just think the hype is a little over the top IMO.

That’s a good argument. Malik Nabers had 3 TDs last year as our #1 receiver. By your standards, he sucks

Missing the point, Game day did not mention 1 LSU receiver but gushed all over this guy and his height. That was my point, just more hype than actual substance IMO.
