They are one of the worst fundamental defensive teams anyone can watch. With their athletes, thier is no reason LSU should be this bad on defense other than the fact Jones simply just doesn't care if they play sound defense.
LSU played very well against a good defensive opponent tonight. Thier complete lack of any understanding of team defense made what should have been a blow out, a nail biter.
In the same game you saw just how good this team could be, and also how there is no accountability from the top down to make sure the little things are done well.

Poor coaching = Poor defense
I heard Les (or someone who can impersonate Les really well) speak with Kevin Ford after the game, and he said, "I like the fight in this team. These men compete at a high level. They have a want to win at basketball and at life. This is not St Patrick's Day."

Yea the concept of defense is not taught at LSU currently!!
