Groundbreaking? No. It seems like the main thrust for your interest in hiring her is solely based on political reasons. What about the hundreds of other “qualified” NFL assistants? Why aren’t you interested in hiring them? Why not start a thread about them?

WTF are you talking about? I object to hiring or not hiring someone (male, female, trans, gay, straight, black, white, orange, what the frick ever else you want to throw in there) based solely on their skin color, gender, or sexual orientation.
Did you even read my post? I said there are more qualified people interviewing for the job so why should we pick her over any of those people? You're either a troll or very bad at reading comprehension.

You indicated that a PGC candidate’s gender and sexual preference should have “zero impact” on whether that candidate is hired. I’m asking that if everything else is equal, should we be progressive and openminded and hire Katie Sowers? It sounds to me like you have something against women and the LGBT community.

if you are a woman or minority, you should want to be hired on your merits, not because people pushed you along in an effort to be “progressive”. There was a time when women and we as minorities had to work harder to break that glass ceiling. It wasn’t fair but it made us proud when we got to the top. I guess now days y’all just want a handout. I hire the best person for the job so don’t bring that lazy crap around me!

1) no you're not asking that. You're asking if we should hire her and we shouldn't because there are better more qualified candidates out there.
2) everything is not equal.

No, I wouldn’t be opposed if she was the best candidate. That wasn’t your original question though. Your original post was about hiring for the purpose of progressivism, not for the best candidate.
