Well. devine did say in the BR Newspaper today that their O was faster than our D and it wasn't close... Funny that when thoes 2 DE's are pressing down on the QB, I am wondering how fast he will be to get away.
PP is "pretty fast according to Devine, but he is faster... I can't wait until he gets his bell rung by Baker or Shepard.
LSU will be the fastest sideline to sideline team WVU will play this season. No one in their conference is as fast on D.

Besides the team speed of LSU, we play Florida, Bama, etc...

Overall I would expect our team speed to be better than West Virginia.

They may have a couple of fast offensive players, but our entire defense is fast.

you can't give any credence to a blog that has a 35-28 final score. there won't be that many pointa scored, regardless of the winner.

hmmmm, I don't know. our defense is also very fast. you guys will get us on depth. if your 1st string is faster it won't be by much. if at all your reserves are where you'll have the advantage.

Have you actually seen the speed we have on defense? Both of our DEs are 4.5 guys, 2 of our top 3 DTs began as big DEs, 2 of our LBers are 4.5 guys and the other an ALL American, both corners are faster than your WRs and are 4.3 guys, and the safeties are in the 4.4-4.5 range. Fastest defense in the country

Does this guy realize we play Florida every season, that has way more team speed than WV does?

The reason WV thinks they are fast is because they are smaller at just about every position.

He's a moron thinking he can beat PP who can beat Hooliday who is a national champion track star.

We are fast, but you're exaggerating. These are my guesstimations.

Adams = 4.7
Montgomery = 4.5/4.6
Mingo = 4.4/4.5
Francois = 4.6
Shep = 4.6
Baker = 4.6
Peterson = 4.3
Taylor = 4.5/4.6
Loston = 4.4
Claiborne = 4.4

Still pretty damn fast.

I have three concerns:

1) WVU QB
2) Noel Devine
3) sloppy rain conditions.. As of last few years LSU looks like crap on a slick surface
