And by looking at those stats, I notice that LSU has the least amount of strikeouts in the SEC and the next closest team is Mississippi State with 195 (50 more for those who cant count).

AND... Vandy has more than twice as many strikeouts as LSU.

The stat that surprised me the most is that Romero has been more efficient at throwing out steal attempts than Pap.

Romero: 8-17
Pap: 6-17

That's pretty shocking to me.

he is referring to his elementary school. He isn't really recruited at 7 years old. You go to the school you live closest too.

I know, I just laugh every time he walks to the plate and they show his average around .280 and OBP around .420

The perception that pap is a huge upgrade defensively over romero needs to die

This team has had so many great surprises, but Reid is one of my favorites. Since he's been in, the defense has been much better and more consistent. Feels good not having to worry as much about groundballs on that side of the field.

Ive said this in a previous thread
Kid loves baseball and LSU. I love his enthusiasm and energy. He's always hyped up and I love it
This season's starting to get a 2008 feeling. Hopefully we have a better ending though.

What a dumbass statement. There is so much more to being a defensive catcher than throwing out runners. You must have forgotten late season meltdown in the field Romero had. Not trying to knock the kid because I really believe we will need him this post season. But your comments... damn.
