Our shooting percentages - total, 3pt, and FTs. Simmons, Hornsby, and Victor scored all but 10 of our points. And we had 9 less turnovers than Bama

This loss completely falls on the rest of the team not being able to make shots. Simmons, Hornsby, and Victor shot 50%+ and scored 18+ each. The offense was stagnant, but credit to those guys for hitting tough shots tonight. Avery Johnson coordinated a strong defense

Hard to say this when...

and FTs...57%

Is largely due to this guy.

TQ shoots way too much and Blakeney didn't shoot enough. Nobody can make free throws, and Robinson moves like molasses and is a zero threat to score EVER

No mention from me. Simmons did his part tonight, and the stats back it up. Even if he makes 4 more, we still lose this game. But basketball teams don't win games when they shoot under 40% FG%, and we shot 38% tonight, even though our top 3 scorers shot 50% or better

Quarterman & Blakeney were a combined 3-16 from the field which is below 20%.

Obasohan had 35 points.....11-11 from the line. Defense on him was just awful.

Feel like we can't expect to win when those two things happen....regardless of Simmons poor FT shooting.

Here's a crazy idea, the 6'10 Simmons could block a shot every now and then.
