Win the last 3 non conference games and go 10-5 in the SEC remaining games and I feel really confident we are a #2 seed somewhere.

And if we are being honest, not going 10-5 the rest of the way, would we even have an argument?

Would be very helpful to sweep either Missouri, Ole Miss, or Auburn and then obviously at least get 2 wins over the team we don’t sweep in that group.

That leaves us having to get 2 against either Alabama or A&M and only 1 win against the other.

All this is very achievable and realistic. We’ve just got to dig in, get our swag back, and play good baseball. And for goodness sake, we are due for timely hits with runners on base. I think we are going to do it.

I just have to believe!

I just hope the team hasn’t quit and has some pride to stay the course. Despite what the cringe group on here that shite on everything regarding the program say the schedule is noticeably easier. I’m not expecting a turnaround but it wouldn’t be shocking.

At some point the ball has to bounce our way a little too. We’ve had some gut wrenching losses to tough breaks.

And we need to become discernibly good at SOMETHING during this stretch. It’s impossible to be a tournament team when we have zero reliable strengths to lean on besides…well, just Holman and White right now

I think last weekend the announcers were saying that in the past 15 wins have gotten teams in - here’s to hope

13 wins should do it but would hate to leave it up to the committee knowing how they like to screw us

12 wins won’t get it done

They absolutely can go 10-5 with the way the schedule is but they better start this weekend playing like this is their last chance

As Hannagriff said on the radio yesterday. 13 wins gives you about a 30% chance of making it. 14 wins puts you about 70% making it.

70% is too low for 14 wins. I’d put it pretty much right at 100% they get in with 14 wins

But yeah 13 wins isn’t a for sure thing

I think missouri is a huge series. If we only take two of three, that leaves auburn as a much needed sweep. Ole miss would be a possibility, but I just don't see it.

Get swept by A&M or Bama and that could all but end your season.

LSU can take 2/3 from A&M at home if they play well really just have to find a way to take this Missouri series

Agree because we’d be on fire at that point.

Heck 12-18 might get us.

I respect you guys who have more fight in you than me. It's not impossible but the reality is they're just not a good team. I know you're not going to win them all but

Loss series to state
Loss series to UF at home
Swept by Arkansas
Loss series to Vandy at home
Swept by Tennessee

It seem like the lineup and pitching staff have gotten worse and more confusing. It doesn't seem there's a consistent game plan at the plate, we cannot get timely hits, for some reason we're just not using Thatcher Hurd anymore.

I don't know how anyone still has faith that this team could make a run. This would be a more miraculous run than 2022 Ole Miss.

I guess you might even say our post season starts now since we have to win a bunch to get to the real post season.

This team backed themselves into a corner. If they fight their way out they will be battle tested.

where do you see 10 more conference wins? We strike out way too much, our pitching is way too inconsistent. i get we have hope, but you have to be realistic here

Did you watch the first inning last night? Hurd has a ton of talent no disputing that but the kid just doesn't have it right now and shouldn't see a weekend inning until he can't pitch well in a couple midweek games.

Google 2011 LSU baseball. Missed post season with 13-17 record. 14 wins is the threshold. 13 is not automatic.

The team should have definitely been in a regional too. They were probably the 25th best team or so in the country
