And that includes the 0 to Alabama's NFL prototype defense. That's how badly Miles and Cameron were squandering the potential of this team, and I am so beyond overjoyed at this point in the season that we did what we did. We don't beat Arkansas Saturday in kick-arse fashion with Les this season. Mississippi State almost came back two years in a row due to his ultra-conservative game plan in the 2nd half. You can't have a hold-on-to-the-lead attitude to succeed, you have to have a killer instinct.

I am not sot supporting Coach O as head coach long term, but as is plainly obvious, it will not take an offensive wizard to fix our problems on offense...just someone competent. A coach like Jimbo would have much success here if he can continue recruiting well and have the defense we're used to seeing here.

Myles Brennan could be very special under Jimbo's tutelage. I hope the ink is dry very soon

When you have top 5 recruiting classes every year you know the talent is there. It takes really bad coaching to frick that up.

Miles lost his mojo 1/9 and never got over it. I like him as a person but ill never forgive him for LYING after being retained this season. He straight up lied to all of us that he was going to change the offense

We have played 3 TERRIBLE SEC defenses though.

The one good one we played, we scored 0 points at home and only had 125 yards of offense.

With 2 weeks to prepare.

Ole Miss beat A&M and Arkansas beat Florida. 38 points against those teams, one on the road, is very good. Last year we got our arse kicked 31-14 at home by the Hogs because of Miles. Bert Bielema even said it was easier than he thought to go in there and dominate.

The fact we're beating lesser teams to our capability is amazing. When is the last time you saw Les take his superior team on the road and put a team like Arkansas away like he was supposed to?

The best defense we will play outside of Bama will be Southern Miss. even UF is a shadow of itself now.

They'll still be better than anything we've played besides Bama though.

Wrong. The offense was crappy long before that game and before that season. The offense was okay that specific season in the first half, but it was bad against Bama both times and against Arky and GA until TM jump started things.

Most yards EVER vs an SEC opponent the first game Miles isn't on the sidelines.

Don't care who we have played...you are supposed to hammer bad teams. We let them hang around under Les.

Les played plenty of shitty teams every year. I think the OPs point was that Les under performed.

Instead of blowing out shitty opponents, he'd get up by two scores and sit on a lead.

LSU was 7-0 before they played good teams last year bro.

Everyone in the conference will have 3+ losses. The conference is really bad

Reality is he should have fired Cam Cameron. The issue was that when Harris was the quarterback, there were routinely wide receivers running free and he was just missing them. This gave the illusion that the scheme itself was working and we made no moves...

The 1 team we have faced with a pulse on defense we scored 0 points.

Also did you miss lsu being 3rd in te sec in offensive points per game and 4th in offensive yards per game last year?
