The past 2 weeks have been a public relations nightmare. Absolute freaking nightmare. My 15 year old could have done a better job than ordinary Joe and the Queen.

I heard they rename it: 30 for 30: Delusions of Fandure

It's the story of Texas, Tennessee, Nebraska, Miami, Michigan, etc.;

None of those teams had an established national championship winning head coach on the hook for the job. And its arguable that two of those teams didn't fire the coach soon enough, one of them was on probation for a while, and one is in one of the worst states for talent and recruiting in Nebraska. Your logic is sh*t and you should feel stupid for typing that.

Holy shite. Are you five? Do you not remember Lloyd Carr, Mack Brown, Phil Fulmer?

Tell me which of those coaches were fired / ousted during a 9-3 season?

Delusions of fandure...

None of them were replacing their fired championship coach with another national championship coach like we would have been.
Do you even read?

Lloyd Carr wasn't even fired for f*cks sake. He had an 18-6 conference record his last three years and he hadn't finished lower than third place in conference during his last 11 years.

Mack Brown was fired (forced out) before they had a coach and Charlie Strong is a damn good coach believe it or not. He has a lot of work to do because of Macks laziness during recruiting the last 3 years of his job. They only had 15 commits in 2013. Mack really overstayed his welcome for about 3 years.

The two situations aren't even close to ours.

Already discussed Lloyd and Mack. As for Phil, he had a 17-15 SEC record his last 4 years. Les has a 14-10 record the last 3. Phil was also 2-3 his last 5 Bowl games as well.

Let's face it, it's time to just move on. We wouldn't be any worse off with Jimbo, we more than likely would have been much better off. If Texas had a done deal with Saban there's no way in hell their President would have pulled the sh*t that ours did. Heads would be rolling.

And ETA: Tennessee's problem wasn't firing Fulmer. Lest we forget how Lane Kiffin royally f*cked them over and then the hiring of Dooley cemented their fate.

You chastised the previous poster for citing Texas, Nebraska, Michigan, etc as examples and said those programs didnt have a national championship winning coach on the hook for the job. I simply pointed out that Texas and Michigan both did (Saban, Miles). I'm not sure what else you're rambling on about.

Would love to see your proof Saban was ever going to Texas.

This time could be different. Two industry sources with connections to the program told me they believe Carr will retire. One believes Carr strongly considered stepping down last season, but university officials persuaded him to stay

He wasn't forced out. Coaches who are forced out don't normally get asked to coach another year.
