'27 & '28 LSU Baseball recruiting

In '18 I helped a friend with his Texas based 9u squad @ the USSA Championships in Orlando. Mostly DFW kids and the program is a perennial winner.
As expected a few kids stood out even at that age as "can't miss" future D1 prospects. Haven't been around the game in a bit so I looked up recruiting rankings on Perfect Game & Prep Baseball report. #6 ranked in '27 class was Lash Henderson & Luke Esquival in the '28 class are already committed to LSU from that 9u squad.
Both great kids and bloodlines, no surprise they are on the national radar, but already being committed I didn't expect.

I haven’t seen anything to indicate Henderson is committed to us or anyone right now. Esquivel committed before the contact rules changed.

Parents and siblings in each case were/are elite athletes. When the youngest is hitting 300 ft+ opposite field bombs and velo in thw 60's @ 8 and 9 years old against the best in the country, "future D1 prospect" is warranted even @ that age.
My buddy/their coach was a #1 overall draft pick in MLB and the Dodgers scout in North Texas at the time, I took his word for it and it obviously came to fruition.
PG or PBR has Lash Henderson committed to LSU, I'm assuming that's accurate. Great pickups if they make it to LSU.

That’s a 200-225’ fence. And those kids are 12 and 13 years old. Go watch highlights from the USA 12u team. They aren’t hitting it out the park, only beyond the temp fence. You are full of shite.

There is no 8 year old in the world that can hit a ball 300ft let alone to opposite field. It ain’t happening. I played against multiple future MLB players growing up and none of them was hitting 300ft bombs at 10 years old let alone 8
