This would lock Narcisse up in my opinion. I really think we are going to mix a lot Run Heavy Spread philosophy with our pro style I sets. It would keep teams off balance like crazy.

I heard the same thing when the subject of Muschamp being unhappy at Auburn. Muschamp was willing to make a lateral move to get out of there. I was told Craig would be next but they didn't mention LSU. The Auburn guy I was talking to is a former player and has worked with the Auburn radio network in the past. His quote was "Malzahn is bat shite crazy..."

To come in just as a WR coach would appear to be a demotion of sorts to me. A ploy to get more money from Auburn?

OCIW, I like this move if it happens.

I think this is a possibility. Statements have been made that when Fournette moves on LSU is going to modify its base offensive strategy. Key here is to see if Cam only extends contract one year... or not at all.

Remains to be seen if he does with his offensive philosophy or if it is the same garbage.

ha. I jokingly called this on the coaching changes board a few weeks back. there was something posted about him being unhappy with Gus.

Response that I saw from Auburn posters on this said problem was not with Gus but Lashlee. Too many cooks in the kitchen sounds like.

Lets see, an extra 150,000 +
Leave Crappy Auburn +
Elite talent +
Recruiting hot bed +
Baton Rouge > Auburn
Food & Atmosphere +
Title chance +
Respectful Head Coach +

Doesn't seem like a lateral move

I like the thought of someone from Alabama that could snag a couple recruits from their state YEAR in and Year out.

Which means nothing if Auburn is your alma mater and considered "home".

My point was that he's probably already in a place he loves - it seems like it would take more than $150k to get him to leave.

All I can say is wow.

This is a sign that coaches salaries are completely out of control when a fan could say that.

$150,000 is more than 99% of the people on this planet make is a year.

As mentioned, he's already a co-OC at his alma mater.

If you were an assistant coach at LSU, would you leave to take a job at Florida for $150k more? Or is staying at a place like LSU worth more than that?
