Nuss bowl game performance gave a lot of hope. Especially how he finished which was the missing link in the 3 losses this year.

Next year has quite a few games against teams with great offenses it would be nice to see the defense improve but if it doesn’t the offense will have to play all four quarters.
In the end you have to score more points than the other team. Burrow didn’t have a potent defense and played much better teams in 2019. After the Texas game I had no doubt if LSU needed a score he would make sure it happen. He was a killer.
