Oh I didn’t see that

How you going to call it a turnover thread but not talk about the turnover lol

He just doesn't want it to turn into a "so and so is shitty and should not have a roster spot next year" or a "I heard through a friend of a friend's cousin that so and so is transferring" thread.

Im just saying, everything in the title and OP points to that discussion. You have 'turnover' in the title and note that there are 53 players for 40 spots. Of course people will talk about who may or may not be here.

I don't know if Alex Milazzo gets drafted this year or not, but in a full 30 round draft, I could definitely see it happening. Even the keyboard ranters could see him stepping back on his swings and pulling his head from time to time. I think there would be at least one organization that thinks they have a hitting coach that could fix that and get him to a serviceable .250 hitter which could give you a long major league career as a back up catcher.

I don't think there was anything wrong with what you said btw. I think Project is trying to avoid posters shitting on players for the sake of shitting on them.

I agree with you that a couple of those LHP will likely not be on the roster next year.

That discussion is fine in general imo. But it’s all speculation and doesn’t serve much purpose other than posters sharing who they think sucks (even if valid). Also, this year isn’t going to be like most years with a new coach coming. The turnover will be more than high with the new transfer rules and the new coach bringing in transfers who can play immediately.

What you said is very different than what I would prefer not to have happen in this thread.

UpToPar is correct:

It got real bad with some former players. And was getting real bad with some current players. I just want the extreme stuff out of the thread.

Any of McDonnell, Godwin, or Bianco would have catchers up to speed defensively really quickly.

Why in the world would Thompson leave?

He's been disenchanted since he was told his defense was so bad at 3B that we had to start a pitcher there week 1.

San Diego kid, could just be home sick & culture shocked

Let the new coach get in there and talk to him and it could all just be fine

I would hope any kid on the fence about leaving would at least stay long enough to give the new coach a chance.
