1. Miami- Miami will be highly ranked coming into 2018 but if you look at 2017 they were pretty overated and nearly lost several times. LSU has more talent and will win with defense. W
2. Southeastern LA W
3. Auburn- The big one. Will be really tough to win this one, however I see it coming down to the wire. L
4. LA Tech- W
5. Ole Miss at home. This will be a depleted roster with no Shea. W
6. At Florida- Mullen cannot work magic in one season. LSU is the more talented team and will pull out the W
7. UGA- The second big one. This will be a battle, however I think LSU pulls it out with defense. The offense at this point will be good enough to do JUST enough. W
8. Miss State at home. No Mullen and while this team returns a bunch of starters they won't win in Death Valley with this new coach. This game would make me nervous if it was September, however LSU will be seasoned by this game and ready. W

PERFECT time for a bye week after the last few.

9. Bama at home. Finally we pull of the win... Our defense will be nasty and our Dline will be the strength of this team. Bama can't run against us and we will do just enough through the air to pull it off.
10. At Arkansas. Easy win. They won't be very good next year. W
11. Rice, nice break. W
12. A&M This will be closer than years past but Jimbo can't do enough in one year to make them better than us. W

11-1 and SEC west champs. Auburn loses to UGA and Bama

The schedule does look brutal however the tough games are spaced out. Auburn comes after Southeastern LA. UGA comes after UF(one tough stretch) and Bama comes after the bye. If we can go 2-1 against Aub, Bama, and UGA we will be playoff bound

This is sunshine pumping at its best

We could very easily be 4-4 heading into that bye week. Next year fans need to expect the worst and be pleasantly surprised if not.

Damn. Saves me from going to any of those games.

How much are SECG tix?

PS......I somewhat agree with your analysis with the exception of beating Georgia. i think they will be around a while and their D is good......unless they are losing a ton?

11-1 with that schedule and our personnel losses?

let me have some of the chili oil that you're smoking.

Love your optimism but that schedule is a doozy no matter how you slice it. I will say that the last time we had a schedule of this magnitude we really stepped up to the plate ....with the exception of the final game against Bama.

What do we lose? QB will be better, Dline will be better, LB will be better and Dbacks will be as good.

I know we lose Guice but our passing game and D will be better.

we lose QB, 2 starting RBs, top 2 WR.

this will likely set up similiarly to the Miles years where we had to depend on a good defense to save an inadequate offense.

I dig your positivity but this is a crucible. We likely won't come out this shiny.

QB will be better. We lose two WR's but the Texas Tech transfer makes up for one.

Only at RB do we lose. That will be by committee next year and as I said QB and D will make up for it

i just don't see it. for all the crying I did about Etling, he actually rounded into a solid QB. if you're expecting an instant upgrade by brennan or narcisse then you gotta temper than expectations. especially here at LSU, we are snake bitten at that position.

Only close comparison is 2012 where you had a 1st year starter and mostly unproven WRs, but you had experience at RB. Almost everything outside of the OL going into 2018 is inexperienced.

every team loses some players but auburn is losing virtually all of their upper classmen OL (four of them I believe). our front 7 should be able to wreck havoc. their DL and most of their D will return tho. for LSU to win this game, WE NEED AN OFFENSE. sound familiar?

I think we have at least a 50/50 shot to beat Auburn.

i honestly don't see any gamebreakers on offense at the moment once you subtract guice and chark out.

Dline, LB's, WR's, and Dbacks are all experienced. WTF are you talking about?

We'll be 9-3 at best next year. 2019 is the year where I expect them to compete for a title.

2018 is finally the year to sunshine pump. The D will be NASTY, we open with a top 15 matchup that is very winnable, and we FINALLY will have potential at QB
