The predictions are optimistic. I can see LSU going 10-2 with losses to Florida and Alabama

Losing to Florida? Frick them!!!!! We will beat Florida. I do pray this is the year we beat Bama. Believe it or not, our surprise loss just might be to A&M. Poor guys, they are dying to break our winning streak against them. I don't think they will, but if by some miracle they do, I called it!

I just don't see all this Florida love. Was a fluke game last year.

I'd rather lose to Florida on the road then drop an easy one at home..
I just don't see us losing less than 2 games either way

I predict Ed Orgeron taking his jambalaya stirring paddle and bitch slapping all of his detractors right in their fat negative faces to the tune of 10-2 including a victory in T-town.

I haven't yet decided which two teams will get lucky and beat us.

We will go 9-3 with losses to Auburn, Florida, and Bama. Wow, I just realized that's the same losses as last year.

Florida and/or Auburn would be good guesses.

Zaire beat us at ND. He will have better talent. I see losing to UF and Bama. 10-2.

Sep 2 LSU 35 BYU 10* W not losing
Sep 9 LSU 56 Chatt 6 W not losing
Sep16 LSU 31 at Miss St 14 W not losing
Sep23 LSU 42 Syracuse 13 W not losing
Sep30 LSU 38 Troy 7 W not losing
Oct 7 LSU 28 at Florida 17 W revenge game

Oct14 LSU 24 Auburn 21 W could lose but it's at home

Oct21 LSU 38 at Ole Miss 14 W this team will break before they meet LSU

Nov 4 LSU 24 at Alabama 21 W we finally beat bama

Nov11 LSU 31 Arkansas 21 W not losing

Nov18 LSU 21 at Tennessee 14 W will be tired and it's a tough place to win but we pull it off

Nov25 LSU 45 Texas A&M 21 W not losing

Tough games are Auburn, Florida, Bama, and Tenn. We likely lose 2/4 but we could actually beat all these guys and play for a championship if the cards fall right. The big key here is this new offense coupled with an Aranda defense. This LSU team will be tough to beat next year. Yes we will be tired but we have some very talented young players we can plug in if something happens down the stretch. Again this isn't a Les Miles team where he beats them in the ground for 4 quarters. These guys might be having a blast next year as a team which can take a team pretty damn far. I'm excited to see what happens. This coaching staff wants that Florida and that bama game bad. So Tenn and Auburn may be the ones that sneak up on us. 10-2 more likely but it could happen! 12-0 baby!

10-2

Early games should allow the OFF and DEF to gel, get the right players on the field (who steps up), and establish the ID of this season. Don't sleep on Miss St, and UF will be a BIG test in the swamp. Get through that game then come back home with a lot of momentum and play AUB. NOT sold on AUB. Their DEF got shredded by OK last year in SB. They got 6 on the last play of the game to make it 35-19. Glad we get them at home this year.

And it took the 3rd quarter at their place to pull away.

It's LSU. We always have one game we play down. I chose this one.

I absolutely hate it every time we lose to Bama, but ya know, each loss just adds to the size of the party for when we do beat them...

Florida - I'm on the fence about this game, could go either way imo. The only thing I know for certain about this game is we will see the "shark picture" on Gameday
Alabama - L
Win the rest

It's natural to be emotionally "down" a game or two. It's just not possible to play at 100% intensity for all 12 games. There are natural emotional ebbs and flows to a season.

That being said, the schedule sets up pretty good for us, with no obvious trap games. I do think the Arky game, being the week after Bama, is usually an emotional challenge for us.

But the game I'm more worried about is at Tennessee. It comes after Bama and Arky, and before A&M. We don't have a big rivalry with Tennessee since we've played them so rarely over the years. I think this game, being the 3rd of 4 games in November (and being on the road) is a dangerous one for us, from an emotional standpoint.
