This isn't fair to the LSU fans who live for the opportunity to bitch about unfair scheduling.

I'm guessing September will be @Mississippi State, @South Carolina, then @Syracuse. Road warriors get ready.

You have to admit the past scheduling matrix and all the "bridge schedules"...mostly seemed to favor certain teams...that's just a FACT, one can't simply dismiss !

Not a rumor. SEC released the rotating cross-divisional opponents through 2025 back in the spring.

Specific dates for 2015 will be announced tonight.

ROAD TRIP

Country Hearth Inn is the only place that's walking distance to stadium. SC football stadium is at least a mile or two off campus. Standard hotels (HI, HI Express, Clarion) are located close to campus.

bc of this horrific lock system, (in which they put my fave away destination, athens in 2025) i guess if i never have been to columbia i'll have to go next yr bc i might be dead by the next time LSU travels there.

for those that have been, is SC a good road trip? or is it skippable?

I really wish we would take our open date earlier than right before the Bama game.

Here's my guess at it. South Carolina has a game on the 28th already.

Aug 28 @ Miss State
Sept 5 McNeese
Sept 12 Bye Week or @South Carolina
Sept 19 @South Carolina or Bye Week
Sept 26 @ Syracuse
Oct 3 Eastern Michigan
Oct 10 Florida
Oct 17 Auburn
Oct 24 @Ole Miss
Oct 31 Bye Week
Nov 7 @ Alabama
Nov 14 Western Kentucky
Nov 21 Arkansas
Nov 28 Texas A&M

i don't mind having it for bama but in a year when the schedule allows for two open dates i wouldn't want both in november.

who knows maybe it will mean healing some bumps and bruises down the stretch and finishing strong. we'll see.

that's a pretty solid guess, tho we travel to SC. also have they mentioned anything ab9out playing state first game on a thurs? i know we have before didn't know if it was a done deal. seems state and carolina really like that first thurs slot.
