LSU is ranked #3 behind Bama and OSU. FPI is weighed on previous records, returning starters, and recruiting classes.
Interesting tid bit, the top 3 in this poll last year all made the play off.
I know, I know, we don't have a qb. Blah, blah, blah. There are a lot of things going for us. Could be an exciting year!

I looked at their 2013 rankings and LSU was at 14. The 3 that they picked that made the playoffs were Oregon, Alabama and Florida State.
