Skip Bertman with Smoke Laval as special consultant. Cecil Collins can be the running game coordinator with Chance Agayre handling the passing game coordinator duties.

Whoever devised sat gameplan

Isn't it amazing that when offense was struggling it was Miles in charge all the way. Now that LSU dominated the so called "best defense" it ust habe been someone else, LOL.

You think that the O will play that well the rest of the season??

Absolutely.

Like ATLTiger said

1. The turnovers are under control. 0 TOs against the vaunted Bama defense and A&M. Only 1 against USCe giving us 1 TO in the last 3 games - impressive.

2. The line has 2 freshman and a sophomore which were all inexperienced. They grew up in the USCe game and gained a lot of confidence. Who wouldn't say that the OL has been one of the STRONG points the last 3 games when everyone was worried about how bad it was before that?

3. The light came on for Mettenberger in the second half against Bama. The talent has been there all along like everyone thought it would, the game was just moving to fast for him. Who in the hell would have thought it would have come on in the biggest game of the year against the best defense in the country, but it did. I look for him to have 4 very solid games to close out the season.

4. Jeremy Hill has emerged as the featured back among the stable of RBs that we have. He is the total package. Hes fast, elusive, has good vision and finds the right holes. He looks like he will be a weapon for a couple of years.

5. The WRs have had the drops this season. That is a confidence issue, not ability. They dropped a pass or two against Bama early on but then really stepped up big time in the game. They gained a lot of confidence and will continue to play like they did in that game.

The play calling has not been as HORRIBLE as everyone is making it out to be, to the point where we need to fire the OC. The players simply haven't executed to the best of their abiliies. See the 5 points above and think about how they were all playing early in the season and how they played against Bama. Think about it, the talent is CLEARLY there, they simply were not executing early on. Now we know that they can.

Instead of catching the ball, they go for interceptions.

Ok...who will it be? Krag? Stou? Someone new? I'm hoping for a big time guy that will run it like Chavis does the defense (who I hope gets no offers to go anywhere else)!

Surely you are trolling. Did you watch the game Saturday night?

eta: And everyone will feel better about it, so long as Mettenberger continues to play like he did Saturday.

So Les was "primarily" involved in the game plan, but the other three coaches on the offensive side of the ball were not primarily involved...

You must mean the best defense not named LSU. On Saturday, LSU clearly had the best defense on the field. For the last few years LSU's D has been every bit as good as Bama's.

Wow you sound like Bob Stoops in 2003.

Everything I said was praise for how good the offense did.

Statisically speaking Bama is ranked ahead of us in every single defensive category. Yes I think we are about even or maybe a touch better, but if you are going to correct me, Bama is statistically the best defense in the country...at least before our offense got a hold of them.

Chip Kelley? That's silly.

John Gruden and Sean Peyton are available!

This is what will happen. Our offense will look pretty damn good for the rest of the season. We will be excited going through the offseason and make excuses for the current OC. Like, he didnt have a big time WR or deep threat to really utilize the playbook. Then when next season starts, we will be disappointed when they run the same plays over and over like this year.
