I know they don’t have the history that we do but everyone acts like they’re Sewanee or something. They’re are a bigger school than we are.

I met their AD, Matt Larsen, a few years later (at that point he was NDSU’s AD). He had nothing but great things to say about LSU and the fans. He said he had never eaten so much great food

Stony Brook is a commuter school on Long Island. Cant compare Stony Brook to Lousiana's flagship university.

Honestly they were the better team. I still hate the decision to start Gausman when game 1 resumed. I would've waited in order to give him the full outing in game 2. It didn't make sense to me to start him for an inning or two and then have him start game 2.
