This is the game where CBB supposedly took the handcuffs of Canada. Multiple unorthodox formations, some trick plays, and a lot of scoring.
Fun starts at 0:45.

It will be refreshing to see some different formations used on offense

other than that nothing much to see. Run heavy offense. Where is the QB play?

Definitely unpredictable even in run heavy sets. Getting a lot out of those backs. Gorden and Ball. Who were those guys? Did they set records? I'm in if he was apart of their success!

He was playing his 3rd String QB in that game.
Joel Stauve and Danny O'Brian were both hurt.
Curt Philip was playing. Idk who that is either.

that first play from scrimmage with Chark, would be killer. start a drive off like that when the defense isn't expecting shite...hell yes!

That's a lot of bunch formation and run up the gut. Guess we'll see some Guice wildcat?
I was expecting more exotic than 9 lineman.

I like chark on the sweeps too. But he clearly has great speed and he's tall as frick. Why can't we get good enough wr coaching to maximize the talent there? Really for years. He should be a big play stretch the field receiver and the sweeps should be secondary. NFL coaches would reach for him high in the draft just on measurables and speed alone. Probably like they will Malachi. I just think our wide receiver development is probably laughed at by NFL scouts

Also, what happened in the Rose Bowl? Did Alvarez hold back Canada or did Stanford?
Ok, edited to add this. Google is your friend.
"Numerous UW sources said Canada's decision to stand up to Bielema was a significant factor in the offensive outburst that followed. The Badgers amassed 640 yards, including 539 on the ground, in the 70-31 victory over Nebraska on Dec. 1, sending UW to the Rose Bowl [...].
Bielema's more heavy-handed tactics during the season, according to the sources, included overruling some of Canada's play calls on the coaches' headset during games."
Whoa, that's unheard of...
Ok, back to the Rose Bowl. Did Alvarez hold back Canada or did Stanford?
