2011 Football Season

I'm sure this has been discussed already, but.
Take a step back a minute from 1/9, as the world didn't end because of it, and it's nice to think what an eventful season we had. All of TM7's plays. Beating the hell out of Auburn. Wing's 'TD'. Beating Bama in BDS.
I realize we will remember it for it's ending but definitely brings back a season full of great memories.

It does not matter. IF you have a great season, if not, one of the best ever, then you should win the last game of the season and claim your title.
Does anyone give a shite about the Patriots perfect season? Not unless you are a NE fan. If not, all you know is that they won 16 games in the regular season and crapped out in the Super Bowl.

well I didn't think LSU deserved a second chance at Bama so I had already dismissed the second game
while the ending to that was rather painful, I moved on cause I didn't think the way it played out was correct
so yea it was a great regular SEC Championship season is my view

2011 was special and unique in a lot of ways. Unfortunately, 01.09.12 will live in infamy. Not changing game plans or QB in that game will unfortunately taint an incredible season. I Love Les, but of all the crazy off field shite, amazing games and plays I witnessed in '11, I just will never understand what went down in that game. With that said...bring on Mett & 2012!!!

We dominated nearly every opponent we played. It was (still is ) a GREAT time to be a Tiger fan.

I think most people are over the real reason most were pissed. that Lee didn't even get a chance... We probably would have lost anyway but we didn't even try. That and Miles quit in the 3rd quarter.

Yes but it doesn't matter because in 25 years people will only remember that Alabama beat LSU for a title. And some Gump teabagged an LSU fan then went to jail and ruined his life. Sweet Justice!
I am a huge LSU fan bro. If not, one of the biggest you will find. I quit my old job so I wouldn't have to work weekends or nights anymore so that I would have time for LSU. That is a fact.
But I am still not going to think about 2011 anymore. I am done with it. We lost and it's over. Time to move on to 2012.
It's like having a smoking hot ex-gf. Think about the hottest chick ever and pretend you dated her for a year. You got to tap that 2-3 times a day. Now imagine that she dumped you for some other dude. Are you telling me you would still sit around the house thinking about how great it was when you were together and how incredibly hot she was?
