2004 LSU vs Alabama: Flashback Friday Edition

01/31/04 at Coleman Coliseum
This was the last time LSU won at Coleman. The Tigers were led by Bass and Jaime Lloreda and got a boost off the bench from Antonio Hudson to secure the sweep over Alabama. Gonna need Craig and Ben to hold it down and have Tim come off the bench and lead us to the road W.
***Sources have just confirmed that John Brady was seen riding the white palomino down the strip. Xavier Whipple, Regis Koundjia and Tack Minor were fueling up at Publix, getting ready to meet up with Darnell Lazare, Darrel Mitchell and Ross Neltner at Coleman Coliseum.
IT'S TIME TO TAKE BACK THE NIGHT, BROTHERS!

Brandon Bass scored 15 points and had 13 rebounds as LSU defeated Alabama 60-54 in a sloppy game dominated by turnovers and missed layups.

Doh. The beginning of a nice run. It ended with that mid February win in Gainesville. We are 17-4 at that point. Lloreda's injury and we lost 8 of our next 9, I believe, counting a blowout loss to SC in the SECt.

That team could have went far.
That injury did to that team what Mauck's injury did to football in 2002.

I was in 8th grade the last time we won there... WAY too long. Time to reverse the curse.
