I like watching these little clips this time of year to help me get a little football fever
Quality isn't that great on this one but I think it's Mark Harmon doing the voice over

I could still almost recite that verbatum now. I remember when the game ended, Verne Lundquist gave thanks to Grisham for getting the game started with a stylish fashion.

Good intro except I'm confused as to why they chose a piece from the Finding Nemo soundtrack for the background music... And then Pirates of the Carribean at the end. I guess that game was broadcast on ABC

Nice. I had forgotten that one. That was right when Grisham's football book Bleachers came out.
And yeah, the LSU Hate one is badass. Always been my favorite.
I'd never anticipated the beginning of a game more than this one, but given the drama of the moment, I never understood why they had to get some random clown with a fake sounding accent to narrate it.
John Goodman, or even Carville would have killed this.

Agree. That was terrible. There haven't been that many great intros in the Les Miles era. I think it's simply because he doesn't command respect from the media.
