LSU fell off with national titles once Alleva came on board. Just wanted to be close and not win was his motto. LSU has not won national titles in a decade. Good riddance Alleva

So true. Only 1 in 2015 (M Golf).
19 in the 1990s
13 in the 2000s
1 in the 2010s

In terms of SEC Championships (including tournaments):
33 in the 1990s
26 in the 2000s
21 in the 2010s

Alleva just wanted to be competitive and not win national titles. Sadly LSU has gone a decade without any national titles. I hope Woodward is committed to winning them. I hated Alleva’s philosophy running the AD. It has cost LSU

In the middle of those years I moved to Austin with an LSU shirt on and chest out like a porn star. Hope we get Texas in the fall to make up for baseball shitting the bed here.

Is Saban the only one that can wear dark khakis? Is that like an alpha thing?

To put things in context further:

1930s: 2 (1 boxing, 1 M outdoor)
1940s: 4 (4 M golf, 1 boxing)
1950s: 2 (1 football, 1 M golf)
1960s: 0
1970s: 0
1980s: 6 (2 W indoor, 3 W outdoor, 1 M outdoor)
1990s: 19 (4 baseball, 6 W indoor, 8 W outdoor, )
2000s: 13 (2 baseball, 2 football, 3 W indoor, 2 M indoor, 3 W outdoor, 1 M outdoor)
2010s: 1 (1 M golf)

For visual summary:

1930s: XX
1940s: XXXX
1950s: XX
1960s:
1970s:
1980s: XXXXXX
1990s: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
2000s: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
2010s: X

Thanks, Joe...

And that decade won't even come close in comparison to 2019 to 2034. These next 15 years will be beyond anything we can imagine! And not just LSU, Saints and Pelicans as well!

Fun fun fun! NOLA- Illinois, Oklahoma, ND, & Ohio State. All good times! But the Independence bowls in late 90’s were a blast I think bc I was young at the time too!

I was lucky to attend both championships and the one we lost with my son. Hard to believe looking back.

2001 SEC football title. 2005 SECCG appearance was fun until the game started. 2006 Sugar Bowl.

You are definitely correct about that decade. I came of age during that time, watched LSU for the first time, all 4 years of undergrad fell during that decade. It was a magical time. The thought of what could be again has kept me going through this underwhelming past decade.

What was great about the early part of the decade was the build up. I remember the excitement when DiNardo made it to two bowl games in a row, then Saban wins the SEC Championship (even making that game was a wild ride), then the NC... The climb is what made it exciting. Expectations kill some of the shine for teams since.
