I think he turned down a bunch of pretty good schools last year after VCU's run and signed a pretty significant contract extension, if I'm not mistaken.

True. He was offered 2.5 a year at NC State and turned it down. Now we got Gotfried and are going back to the tournament.

Alleva should be on the phone with him right now. He's a hecka of a coach. He would reestablish LSU as a good basketball team. Great win for VCU!
