If Michigan and Ohio state only lose in that game. Washington wins Pac !2 and Clemson wins Acc. That's your playoff.

A 2 loss sec champion would need one of the big10 to lose another game or a beat up pac12 champion.

The best teams aren't always undefeated.

It wouldnt have either in there probably

Here's something disturbing:
Even if we win out, go 10-2 with SEC Championship and Alabama only loses to us

Alabama goes to the CFP

exactly. It's not always the W-L record that tells the story. If a team has a brutal schedule and ends up with a couple losses, but they were tight games against good teams, then they shouldn't automatically be dismissed as a playoff team compared to other 1-loss teams.

That's why I love the March Madness committee. They analyze schedules and performance, not simply wins and losses.

I'm a bit optimistic, but if we run the table against all ranked teams, there's no way I see them leaving us out.
