but if they did, per capita means nothing.

Please again, conveniently avoid the fact that I mentioned Texas; the fact that we get guys from Florida (your 44 comment ) already; and the fact that there are NO OTHER schools in La. to compete with your said 11 propects......good God man.

i saw that you edited your reply arse hat. and i responded that i answered that for you.

And no i have no way of knowing sabans record here if he had stayed. but most likely he would average more than 1 loss a season because thats what he did while he was here. I only have to go by what his record was while he was here, inheriting a team loaded with nfl talent left by dinardo. dinardo could recruit, just couldnt coach.

i mentioned texas as well, but bama has an advantage in geography to eastern schools when it comes to texas. they have players from texas as well dude.

but per capita doesnt mean shite. ok 3 big schools in florida, 44 players drafted. just because lsu is the only big school in louisiana doesnt matter when the florida schools still have more access to more recruits.

i know they dont get all 44 of those, but we dont get all of ours either. Especially if 8 of those drafted were rbs, you have to recruit for needs, just because we have the most people drafted per capita it doesnt mean the talent is spread equally across every position needed to win championships. While in Gerogia, texas, california and florida the chances are you can field all 22 positions with players going to the nfl, you cant do that in Lousiana based on the number of prospects.

44>10 you fricking moron. If UF gets a 3rd of those they have more nfl players than Louisiana produced.

That is why per capita doesnt mean a god damn thing.

dstone12, you are talking about recruiting advantages for LSU, but you are not talking about recruiting advantages for Bama. Again legally 3x the budget.

Yes Florida, Texas, and Georgia have more elite prospects and good prospects than Louisiana and Alabama have, Plain and simple. Yes no one beats Louisiana and Mississippi per capita. The total numbers matter and have a greater advantage.

I realize LSU has a better position recruiting wise than most teams, but you are still not responding to the budgets. Money talks and they hire dads and coaches legally because of the the imbalance in the budgets and outside the the budgets...get a clue.
