If the bama / LSU football replay didn't depress you enough the other night, you can watch the greatest comeback (or meltdown) in NCAA basketball history. Happy fricking holidays.

Why don't we just throw in 1994 vs Auburn in football while we are at it?

That was the worst moment in LSU sports history. The Interception Bowl vs. Auburn, the horrific 42-3 loss at Florida State in 1990, the huge football losses vs. Florida in 1993 and 1996, those were all agonizing but nothing quite had the impact of that Kentucky basketball comeback. Why was Dale Brown still coaching after that fiasco?

Tulane 48-7 in the Dome 1981 easily for me.

That was Dale's first losing season of his last four losing seasons, even though I'm not one of the Dale guys here, a bit premature. But embarrassing, absolutely. That Kentucky team wasn't exactly one of Pitino's best either. Frickin Travis Ford leading the way.

They were top 10 most of the year and finished 27-7. Lsu had no business being up by that much to begin with.

I forgot about that 48-7 loss to Tulane. That, and the Tiger Stadium loss to an underdog Tulane team the next year, proved that Stovall couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag.

I didn't say they weren't a good team, just not one of Pitino's best. He coached them up.

And you are right, LSU had no right being up that much, but we were. And.........
