Does any one remember that local song they wrote fir the team. About Eathan martin howard carter. Cookie monster. Scales. Macklin.
The only line i can remember is. "Howard carter. All the way from the parking lot"

"Who Dat? That's Hi C, he spells trouble with a capital T. Howard Carter, what a shot, all the way from the parking lot."

Who Dat Who Dat! I have it on vinyl.

Who dat?
Dat's Super-Sub.
He can fly like a Piper Cub.
Off the bench, in the game
Willie Sims claim to fame.

Who dat?
That's Ethan Martin.
Inside, outside, he's just startin.'
5-foot-10, true grit.
Give them big, bad guards a fit!

My dad brought me into the "assembly center" while it was still under construction. Then we followed the tigers all the way to the top. Those were good times

This year we have a ball club where just one star can't be found. Zone, man-to-man or press. Run or slow it down.

There's Rudy, Bullet, E and Hi-C... Cookie, Swat, Super Sub and John T.

I was in the assm cntr when all the LSU starters had fouled out and all we had left were freshman and we were playing ky. We beat them in overtime with our freshmen that eventualy went to the final 4 a few yrs later. I dont care what people say. Dale could coach back then!

When Dale was young and hungry he could get those kids to spill their guts on the court. CJJ just doesn't have that same personality, I don't see him being able to affect his kids in the same way.

But different strokes, hopefully he can find his own path to maximize what he has.
