18-12 we would host. 17-13 could possibly also depending on what other SEC teams do down the stretch.

18-12 LSU WILL be a host site. (meaning taking 1 or 2 from Florida)
17-13 LSU would be on the bubble to host ala #15-16 seed host site.
16-14 (This is the most likely scenario for LSU and barring they don't implode from here on out) they'll be a #2 in a weaker regional like Southern Miss, TCU, Minnesota, ULL.

We're 11-10 now, your finish would have us at 16-14. Sweep one of Arky or UT (or win the UF series), and we'd be 17-13 and could sneak into a regional host. Probably the best case realistic scenario.

At 16-14 we should still be a host site, our RPI would be Top 15 in that scenario more than likely. But I could see the NCAA screwing us over

lol
they won a series for the first time in a month, and then were very competitive against a very good texas a&m team. they had won 5 of their last 6 before losing the last two to a&m. before that, they had lost 8 of 10.
they are playing the best ball they have played probably since conference play started, yes.

don't worry we aren't going 18-12, I think 17-13 would be a great accomplishment, but with the way the pitching staff and inconsistent the hitting has been 16-14 is the likely answer. 2 out of 3 vs arky and at tenn. then win the game lange pitches vs florida

It all comes down to where we finish in the West. If the SEC gets 6 host sites, 3 will go to East (Fla, SC, and Vandy), and 3 to the West (TXAM, Ole Miss, and MSU/LSU).
Right now MSU has an RPI of 10 - they have the easiest schedule left, so it will take a big meltdown to drop them below us in the RPI. So the best scenario is a 6-3 finish for LSU and a 4-5 finish for MSU. Not probable, but possible.

I think taking 4 or 5 against arky and tenn is reasonable.
And I just do not see this team getting swept at home, even by UF. I think we pull one out and it's not beyond hope to think that we could pull of an Alex Box upset and take 2.
