saw this stat earlier. LSU is 17-5 since the start of last season. Those losses were to Alabama, Ole Miss, Florida, Penn St. and Auburn. Their combined records since the start of 09 is like 57-7. Those 5 losses were all by single digits. Just thought it was pretty interesting.

Not to be a technical bitch, buth the loss to Florida last year was by 10 points so it was a double digit loss.

You need to understand that the only record that matters is what happened in 08-09 sec play where we combined for 8-8. Doesn't matter what happened before or what happens after. That is what the rant told me.

Thanks for pointing that out. Still, not much differnce though, still a "good loss" if there is such a thing.

I am pretty sure those numbers are based on the opposing teams' record in the year we lost to them. Otherwise the total games played would be near 115 total for those teams.

yea, like '08 was the post NC year when we layed an egg. we began to rebuild last yr and it would have been ok except for no qb and the weakest ol i've seen in a hell of a long time. i think we've bottomed out and if we can recruit a very good qb and keep the top recruits coming in we have a bright future.
