Good thing the student section isn’t on the sidelines. It would’ve looked terrible on TV.

My BIL was there - said 9,000 actual if he had to guess, which is fantastic for women's hoops.

It’s better to watch on TV. It’s easier to switch the channel when they miss their 6th layup in a row. I can watch other things and come back to the game every now and then. Give me softball and gymnastics any day of the week over women’s basketball.

How old are you that you watch women's softball and gymnastics?

Were you there? Student section was not empty. It wasn’t full, but for a weekend with Mardi Gras parades, baseball, and gymnastics it wasn’t bad. The ones that were there stood the entire time. The team went over and thanked them afterwards. Was a great game and atmosphere.

Softball and gymnastics are more fun to watch than basketball.

I was there… stadium was very full and very involved .. I have mbb and wbb season tickets… It was rocking like one of the better mbb games.. students started showing up a few games back.. first part of season you had one or two students show up and the band would go down there and spread out and do some pretty fun antics to distract the other team…not a full student section yet but improving… stadium has been pretty full with paid attendance all season since km came on. The team and coaches are very competitive and wbb offers a very nice lsu sports atmosphere… different sports for different people .. I enjoy any lsu activity that is competitive.. from sports to jeopardy….

And the gymnastics comment and only old people.. clearly you have never been to a gymnastics meet.:(

Students have been outstanding in football and basketball attendance. Don’t knock the students.

softball is one of the better womens sports to watch. The fact that it doesn't try to be baseball is what makes it entertaining to watch and you can appreciate the talent it takes to succeed at it. shorter bases and field makes how the game is played much different than baseball, and i like that.

womens basketball, and soccer, are two sports that are unbearable to watch for me. Not sure there is a more harsh punishment you could put on me than making me watch women play soccer and/or basketball. It's just a terrible product, and i say that with the most respect i can b/c i'm konw those girls love what they do and i want them to succeed.

I'd watch gymnastics and volleyball, but that's only to look at arse.
