Moscona made a good point. If he can never come back, it means this was his 4th positive. When were they gonna tell us about his suspension for one year?

He also mentioned that if this was his 4th positive, why was he still practicing with the team on Thursday evening. Why wasn't he suspended for a year on his 3rd?

So does this mean that this was his 3rd, and something went on at the time they informed him of the 12 month suspension that forced them to remove him permently from the team?

As usual there is probably more to this then we figure.

Mascona is an idiot. If this was TM's 4th drug failure then that mean LSU has violated it drug policy when TM failed the 3rd tes and sanction will be coming soon against LSU!

Thankfully mascona is an idiot and this was his third failure not 4th, not 5th!

Had TM failed a drug test earlier this year and was allowed to practice with the team we are in violation of NCAA rules.

Has anyone even confirmed it was a drug test?

Who knows, this story keeps changing every minute.

Seems that way. It's gotten to the point Alleva needs to have a press conference and tell the tale.

Tyrann's had a great career at LSU even though it was a short one! he's done all you can ask for, he should just play the one year at McNeese and go pro!

Ultimately he'll probably do something like that. Cost him millions on draft day, but if he can make a club and stay on it, he'll do just fine.

Alleva is by far the worst athletic director LSU has ever had. His arse needs to be fired. When we did hire him, I knew shite like this was going to happen. Nothing is ever cut and dry with this a-hole

Sounds like Alleva pushing this through the compliance department and it's really unfortunate.

I think what is more unfortunate is that Tyrann couldn't behave himself for the 5 few months required of him. Then we wouldn't have to worry about any of this other shite.

If football player like TM7 can't get his act straight, knowing what it could cost him in the long run, then his arse should be kicked off the team. Enough with the fricking excuses.

If it's permanent that he can't come back then there has to be more to the story. Academic institutions always want to give 2nd chances. I just don't know what number TM7 is on. And they are not going to give out what is private about this matter.

As much as I love watching him play, I hope he is done at LSU. I hope he gets his chance in the NFL and dominates, but I had to have a long conversation with my 11yo son about responsibility, opportunity and why his favorite player ever was no longer a Tiger. I still like the kid and have no ill will for him, but for him to be let back on the team at this point sends a bad message to not only our children but the rest of the players on the team.

As another coach would say, it is time to move on.

Throw him out like trash right?

If the policy states sit a year for 3rd offense and he complies with that, then what is the problem?

the problem is you have to stick to your guns. If you crawfish now then it is easier to do so next time. No where in my post did I say he should never get another chance anywhere did I? The exact opposite if you read it without seeing what you want to.

Im so sick of hearing this shite...

Everyone else in society has to live by certain standards. If any of us fail drug tests at work, we get fired and stuggle to find work after. These kids fail 3 drig tests in 1 year and we are the bad guiys because we wont let him back on the team???

He was on full scholarship and had every opportunity in the world to succeed and make BIG money, but he couldn't stay away from drugs. Sure the kid has a problem and if most of you care about the kid as much as you're leading everyone to believe, then you should be focused on his rehab right now and not the specifics of when and where this kid will be playing football again...

Its insane that this has become about LSU not supporting the kid. They gave him multiple opportunities and from what we KNOW, they were already working with him to help him with his problems.

This kid needs to focus on getting better and figure out if LSU will take him back when he is better....whenever that may be.

If the policy states 3rd offense, sit a year, which it does, why do you have a problem with him complying with the policy and sitting a year?

If you have a problem with the policy, then that's where your frustration should be pointed to.

Does it not give the AD and coach the discretion to make it permanent if they feel it is neccessary?
