Who do you think will be the leading receiver this year and will we have one go over 1000 yards?

We haven't had a 1000 yd receiver since Michael Clayton in 2003. RR2 came close in 2011 though

I really think Landry has a great year and gets over 1000.

Thoughts?

If LSU wants to pull the receiver class that we are currently recruiting, we better have at least one 1,000 yard receiver (hopefully two), with another receiver not two far behind. I think this is a small part of the reason some have not committed yet. They want to see the offense, and know that they will have opportunity to utilize their talents. It would be great to see landry and either beckham, or dural break 1,000yards. It would also be acceptable if one broke 1,000, one had 750-800, and one had 500+ yards. Believe we will see one of the two scenarios this year.

Landry's one hand catch in the end zone last year was one of the best I have ever seen in college foot ball!

If anyone did it, it'd be Landry.

Obj is more likely than Landry. Landry is a beast but he's not a deep threat at all

Agree Landry will prolly be in the slot and may not get the yac that Beckham and Dural may get on the outside.

I think Landry prolly leads in receptions though

I think Mett will have at least 20 attempts per game on average for the year.

he averaged 27 last yr. he only went under 23 once, and that was 18 vs. UDub.

he needs to complete more passes than throwing more of them.

Boone will have a huge year and may start over OBJ. He has good size, speed, hands and runs excellent routs. Cam will use him plenty in his senior year.
