I did not say would beat us, but if you don't think this defense will give up yards and points to Ole Miss, Florida, and really every team remaining on the schedule then we haven't been watching the same games.

We're going to win by 4 TD's. That defense will come out and play with some emotion.

I hope you are right....If anybody ever needed a get right game it is our defense. Mississippi St is trationally a damn good get right game opponent.

I'd like to see our D go out and play solid football against MSU like they at least halfway know what they are doing.....then we take it home and get ready for Florida.

It has been 14 years since State beat LSU.

Someone born that year is now in high school. Bill Clinton was the President. Billboard Hits that year included "Do You Believe" by Cher, "Genie In A Bottle" by Christina Aguilera, and "Livin' La Vida Loca" by Ricky Martin.

This will be a cake walk. Probably the least worried I've been for a road game in years. I'm looking to Fla

We haven't had a legit loss to these guys since the Hallman era. Miss State is about as big a threat to LSU as Furman.

With this defense any team in the SEC is a threat.

Some of you people are just fricking dumb. Georgia prolly has the best offense in the Country.

If this team has this attitude some of you posters project we that can just walk out there and State will lay down and die for us in their house on espn night game since they haven't beaten us in forever, then we would be in trouble. Yes the talent level will prevail but jeez some you people this is same attitude cost us Clumson and even back to UF in 03 when lil nickie tried to preach this to the choir and the team didn't get it.
I don't think they will overlook MS and will come out with a vengence but you must respect your opponent in SEC before the game!

On the list of "reasons we lost to Clemson," the fact that Cold Cous Cous didn't take the game seriously enough on the rant has to be pretty far down there.

Not talking about CCC not taking it seriously, I'm saying the TEAM must not prevail this attitude and all will be OK as expected!

MSU has always been a very good defensive team over the last several years. This year the defense is not nearly as strong. The loss of Jonathan banks and the other corner drafted in the second took a toll on the secondary I think. If the offense is focused and motivated, we should have no problem performing. MSU offense has looked better with Prescott and they have a good RB. The receivers took a hit when Bumphis left for NFL. They are not impressive at all, but neither are our DB at this point.
