How quickly we forget how horrible the heisman winner looked against this D. I could be wrong but I don't think any qb really killed us with his arm last season so why are we expecting our qbs to?

Also..our defense has always covered ground sideline to sideline so don't expect jet sweeps to work. Rant away.

What was your favorite offensive highlight from the spring game?

Well, for starters, this defense isn't last years defense. They are much younger and also without the best player.

No adams, beckwith, key, godcheaux, white, Riley. This defense is really young. Talented, but young.

Bc we're lsu and we should have had 500 yards of offense from both teams this game

Did Arden Key, Jamal Adams etc get snaps in the spring game? Or Duke Riley and Beckwith?

Spin all you like we are limited at QB.

We won't need a heisman caliber qb with this offense..I think we saw enough to see he only wants Etling to do just enough to move the chains and he has done that.

Stop with the facts. Everyone knows that the HoF coaches here on the rant would've held Lamar Jackson to -20 of 40 in pass attempts and a negative billion in rushing. Those cats can coach the Cleveland Browns to 10 consecutive super bowl victories,............on Xbox and play station.

I would take him over Etling and McMillian in a fricking heart beat.

This defense will be just as good if not better than last years..we're losing a lot of talent but we're deep as hell. It's all in the scheme. Even the frickin walkons were making plays.

No he should continue with the fact that Beck Duke Adams Key and Godchaux didn't play in this game.

Who else? We're there any other changes between 2015 and 2016? Like, maybe a DC change?

I'll give you Adams and Key but Beckwith really wouldn't affect the qb play much..and our secondary is still just as good even without Tre white. Delpit looked really good tonight and made a lot of plays.

We will field a top 5 defense this season.

Deductive reasoning. We were really good last year, but we lost 4 of our top 5 players from last years defense. It's not a stretch to think we will take a step back. In fact, it's pretty reasonable to assume we will take a step back. That doesn't mean we will be bad. In fact, our defense will very likely be the strength of our team again, but it's unlikely they will be as good as last years defense.

Is it that difficult for you to make these observations?
