Jordon Jefferson had to have done a LOT of growing up ... he now realizes how much personal responsibilty he is going to have to take (no matter the coach)....that he has to be responsible to do the right things sometimes... always be aware of when we need an obvious timeout ...always be ready to go with his gut and do the right thing (go to the endzone) even in the midst of chaos... he will probably have much better leadership skills now

JJ knows to just play and stop looking to the coach for answers.

He needs to tell Coach Miles he is ready to cut the umbilical cord.

JJ needs to learn he won't lose his scholarship if he throws a pass away to avoid a sack.

I think Tim Tebow would come out and take the blame that he should have known what to do in that situation..."I'm the QB, I have to know what to do... I wasn't thinking when I spiked it"..I was confused.... I will learn from it and be a QB"..blah blah

Leaders take the fall, even when they don't have to or are not at fault... When they step up and take the fall, the entire team has their back in the future...

I see this an opportunity for JJ to get some leadership equity in his bank account..

I agree, although I don't see him taking advantage of it.

True sophomore should be ready for next year. If he gets decent play calling and a scheme to take advantage of all the playmakers.

I hope you're right, which is my way of agreeing with you. I like the kid; I really do. He's not the best QB ever to line up for LSU, but his mistakes are also countered with good plays.

The issue at hand is that JJ really doesn't have the autonomy to call his own plays. He needs to realize that if you need something done, you just have to do it yourself.
