How about that Arkansas 9th inning? What goes around comes around. Technically, you could say we're right where we need to be. But Arkansas is a good team and A & M will probably be behind us in standings all year, so "net benefit" is in LSU's favor on the trade-off.

would be nice to that record for BAMA in football sometime soon.

spare me the "to be the best you have to beat the best" ying yang. we beat them at their place and it still wasn't good enough. them being average or below average doesn't hurt our schedule at all. They need some humility.

I agree but it seems to even out in a full season of baseball.

Yeah, except we just aren't a very good baseball team.

Very nice to get the series turned around on Arkansas, now time to keep that momentum and dont lay another egg at home this time against Ole Miss.

Well, if you look at the only facts that matter (W-L), we're one of the top teams in the SEC. I think that's pretty good. We're in good position and there's still a lot of baseball to play.

Then how did we go on the road and beat a ranked conference opponent??

The SEC is up for grabs this year, no team is truly dominant.

I'm still approaching this season with guarded optimism, though.

Hopefully they can shake off this hitting funk that they are in.

That could be the series to get LSU going. Those kind of come-back victories like they had on Saturday bring about a contagious kind of confidence for a baseball team.
