Oregon rang in this year going in dry on FSU.

How does that compare to 1/9/12 21-0?

Well, 1/9/12 was the first time a BCS team failed to score a point, so I gotta say it's a much bigger failure

Holy frick, look can this shite just stop. I'm all for miles getting another year. I think he deserves it. But if jimbo is our new coach, then I will totally support him because he's the new coach of LSU football. Why bash miles while he's still the coach, and bash fisher if reports are true and he's going to be the new coach

frick whoever leaked this shite because it has torn such a rift in the fan base

So basically you're looking for a coach who's never lost a game?

Well, they scored, so I guess that means they crossed the 50 a few times.

Not bashing Miles at all. Quite the contrary, actually.

Regardless of who's a better coach or had more success. It's time for a change.

In fairness, Florida State had a 5 turnovers that game, including a herp derp by Winston in the red zone.

All the while still putting up almost 500 yards of offense.

FSU was pretty much considered a fluke all year. We knew FSU would get whooped when they played a good team.

LSU got destroyed because of the idiot running the team.

Similar to the 2004 Alamo Bowl when tOSU destroyed Les' Cowboys 33-7 before he left the ranch.

Please elaborate on your point.

Yeah, let's keep that in perspective. The year after an undefeated national championship season, Fisher orchestrated a second straight undefeated regular/conference championship season and then lost to Oregon in the playoff.

By contrast, a year after a 2 loss NC, Miles went 7-5 in the regular season. And he has never won an undefeated NC and he sure as hell never had two consecutive undefeated regular seasons.

So I'm not going to be too hard on Jimbo for one loss after he won 29 consecutive games (29!), three consecutive conference titles, and an undefeated NC.
