The guy has been in the game his entire life.
He is highly intelligent both on and off the field.
He is currently trying to break into arguably the toughest position in baseball.
Highly liked by all...think he could relate to each player based off their skill set.
Extremely clutch hitter throughout his career here, especially as a freshman
Dad helped develop the guys who won Catholic’s first title including Aaron Nola

Ryan Theiot. But probably can’t pay him enough

I was thinking Wet Delatte

These LSU guys came here much sooner because their professional careers didn’t work out

No. Not another former LSU player who has zero coaching experience

If LSU finds themselves in search of a new head coach any time soon, I'd take a look at one former Tiger, by the name of Todd Walker. Aside from being a great college hitter, and solid MLB player, he seems like a sharp guy, with the kind of temperament to deal with players.
Doubt he'd leave his current gig to just be a hitting coach, though.
Edit- Ideally, I'd love established winners, but those guys don't grow on trees, and aren't exactly beating our door down, with this terrible administration.

Idk what the next option is but why can’t we have a coaching staff full of COACHES who have some experience COACHING

I'd prefer someone that has had a hitting coach gig before. And has succeeded as a hitting coach with proven results for a reputable school or MLB team.

I want Theriot but him and Paul hate each other and won’t work together.
I’d rather Paul than Theriot.
If we’re only looking at former LSU players then I guess you could do worse than Nola. I feel like Nola could bring a lot to the team but idk if hitting coach is where I would put him.
LSU alums is something I’d like to get away from though

Why don't we just keep the one we have?
We are 4th in the SEC in Batting Average, 1st in walks and 3rd in OB%.
My guess is we will be first or second in each category by the end of the season.
What I think is again, the rant has no clue what they are talking about.
This team has a chance to be really special, like Championship special.
