How is "Desperation plea" the first thing you think to say there? Honest question.
It means he is going there to continue the recruiting process. He is allotted so much time and so many visits, and he is going to see Lawrence as part of the process.

Jeez people - it's been known for days that both LSU & OSU were making a final visit push for Lawrence prior to his commitment Friday. The staff can't win with some of you - they're either incompetent for not trying hard enough & if they do, they're desperate.
