Is there a chance that Speedy flips as this program will be taking major steps backwards now with that awful defense and now no more JF?

I highly doubt it. We don't run the type of offense he's looking to be in.

Are you personally shocked that JM going pro? Guess what, neither are the A&M coaches and recruits. Every single player that has committed to A&M has done so knowing full well that JM won't be the QB next year.

Yes. When he was interviewed on WVUE he stated that he can't way to play with JF.

no way we flip speedy, i dont think he was ever coming here, but aggie is going back to what they will always be, average.

with jff leaving (only reason aggie has even won more than 6 games a year the past 2 seasons) that horrible defense that will not all of the sudden become good and strong getting hired in austin, its over for aggie, they had their 15 minutes.

i know sumlin has done well and has some momentum at the moment, but when they go 6-6 this year, its all over, no more big time recruiting classes.

not a horns fan, but theyll own that state again.

Do we have to have another Speedy thread??

He gone. Get over it. He doesn't really fit into our scheme anyway

Dont you think he knew this was a possibility before he committed??

Please give this a break and move on...if he and Willis would have wanted to go to LSU they could have....end of story.

As long as Noel Ellis is there, we have no chance at speedy......

you sure sound like one. Aggie? That's such a big 12 phrase as they all call each other singular. I'm not sure I've heard any SEC folks do that.

Anyway, I'm sure Texas will do fine but your comments here seem to be more wishful thinking than grounded in reality.

Speedy enrolled at A&M yesterday, as did brown at Bama. It's over time to move on, no flip.

Of course they are.To lose the most electrifying QB to come along probably ever, who dominated the SEC along with a huge receiver, their offense will be nowhere near what it has been with JF there. Plus one of the worst Defenses in the SEC. They will most definitely take steps backwards.

Kyle Allen is going and he's the more prototypical Sumlin QB like Bradford at OU or Keenum at UH, meaning they will throw even more than they do now.

I wish Speedy well, and if I weren't an LSU fan I cant say I wouldn't make the same decision he did.
