That is not what he said. He was saying it as more of a hypothetical. Like players like of that caliber are now within reach. Does not mean that they are being courted or recruited.

People can say negative things about NIL all day & how teams like UT/Bama/A&M can just buy their players, but I love the fact that NIL gives teams like JSU a fighting chance.
It's obviously a Deion thing bc schools like Southern & ULM aren't getting any 5 stars anytime soon, but it's nice to see other programs take advantage of NIL.

If that happens, you are going to, quietly, see the major powers work behind the scenes to strongly regulate NIL. There is too much money being sunk into the Alabama's, Texas's, LSU's, Ohio State's, etc to sit idly by and watch blue chip talent choose to play at "inferior" schools SOLELY because some corporate entity is paying them to do so.
