No I was not lying. Haskins told our staff he was coming for an official visit and if all went well he'd commit. I don't claim to be a recruiting guru. But I do have a source(not as good as Jimmy obviously) whose been dead on many times in the past.

I brought this info to the board and obviously things didn't end up the way he was told. I owned up to it. I was wrong on Haskins.

I just went through my text messages and screenshot a convo, but can't figure out how to load on here from my phone.

I think its also a case of a few bad apples spoil the good ones. Posters who are "respected" or have a history of having some kind of source for the most part do...however insignificant they are more than likely better than your own which is none. Its the jackasses like brody, etc who dont have actual sources or make shite up to get the boards approval that gives those types of posters a bad name because they present information in the same manner, which is a post on a message board claiming to have inside information.

Ill never call someone out for of not having sources or knowing something I don't unless its completely absurd or they are making an arse out of themselves.

As a part of the board you also have to read the tea leaves on whether to believe that posters information (post history, how long they have been on the board, how contradictory their claim is to popular belief, what other respected posters or experts are saying, etc).

The only person on this board that has actual info, aside from Jimmy obv, is Bob Barker. That's it. Easternrio you weren't just dead wrong on Haskins, you were wrong on Christmas-Giles, Shavar Manuel, Trayvon Mullen, etc. You even had one post saying we weren't taking any d-linemen in last years class. Guess what, we took six.

And this BS about well at the time that's what I was told so it was true at the time - gtfo. You sound like Taylor Hamm. You were told repeatedly we weren't getting Haskins, even on the day he signed. You responded "my source is confident therefore I am confident. Yes Mullen may have been a silent but on signing day when he already told the staff he wasn't coming, you were still saying he would be. It goes on and on.

Im not defending rhino...I was just stating how the board works.
